To this end, and with the direction and collaboration of the team from the Vice Presidency of Innovation and Transfer (VIT), we sought to design and develop the document ‘Entrepreneurship in the CSIC: Impact of Spin-offs’ with a very practical approach: converting data into decisions.<\/p>\n\n
We created a measurement framework that integrated scientific-technological, economic, and social impact; we launched and managed the questionnaire to its portfolio of companies; we refined and analyzed the information by key variables (stage, sector, employment, investment, collaboration, leadership).<\/p>\n\n
We worked with the VIT on the strategic interpretation of the results so that every figure served to prioritize, improve programs, and communicate better. The result is a clear and shareable impact narrative that makes the real contribution of these companies visible\u2014qualified employment, investment attraction, effective transfer, internationalization. <\/p>\n\n
The project also reinforces the idea that collaboration and co-creation are direct levers for better results. The public presentation of the report, with institutional leadership and ecosystem agents, consolidated the message: Spanish science is already transforming sectors and needs evidence-based policies and support. <\/p>\n\n
We want to congratulate the CSIC team, its 78 spin-offs participating in the preparation of the report, and its 32 potential spin-off projects for their important contribution to the transfer of science and technology.<\/p>\n\n
For us, it is a source of pride to accompany the CSIC in this step: rigorously measuring, communicating with purpose, and activating concrete improvements so that more technology reaches the market with impact.<\/p>\n\n
